Objective
To bring a level of safety awareness to the candidates concerning hazards associated with their work.

The topics covered during this training are:
- Introduction to OSHA
- Fall protection
- Electrical
- Caught in/between personal protective and lifesaving equipment
- Health hazards in construction (including hazard communication)
- Stairways and ladders
- Materials handling, storage, use and disposal
- Tools – hand and power
- Scaffolds
- Cranes, derricks, hoists, elevators, & conveyors
- Excavations
Exam
The candidate will be required to score a minimum competency of 70% on a written exam.
To receive a course completion card, the student must attend the entire class and complete all class requirements, including all requisite topics and the minimum number of contact hours.
